A budget SBC

I bought this thing in early August of 2025, and I have definitely gotten my money’s worth on it. This website is being served on this very machine. I decided to buy the 8GB version of this board, since I knew that I would be using it for a lot of different things. I don’t regret this decision, as I can run basically anything I want.

  I would need to buy two 2TB hard drives, to setup RAID.

  Again, I would need more storage, since I’m currently running out

• Indoor Air Quality & Temperature monitoring

  I would need a soldering iron for the sensor

• Wireless phone backup (iOS)

  I don’t think this is possible on Linux.

• PxE server with iVentoy

  I don’t have enough ethernet ports in my router to allow for more than one device (+the orange pi). I have an old router which I could use as a switch, but I only have 3 ethernet cables.
